1. Who we are and what this is
Sorex (“we”, “us”) runs the Sorex website, web app and desktop app. These Terms are the agreement between you and us when you create an account or use Sorex. By creating an account you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy.
2. Who can use Sorex
- You must be at least 13 years old. We ask you to confirm this when you sign up. If we learn that someone is younger than 13, we delete the account.
- If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian allows you to use Sorex and to buy a plan.
- You give us a real email address that you can read. One person, one account. Don’t share or sell your account.
3. What Sorex does
Sorex lets you chat with AI models (our own “Artic” models and models from Google, OpenAI, Anthropic and DeepSeek), create images, talk to the AI by voice and edit code. AI models can be wrong, out of date or make things up. Check important results (code, legal, medical, money, safety) before you rely on them. You are responsible for what you do with the output.
4. Your content
You keep the rights to what you write and upload. You give us permission to store it and to send it to the AI provider you chose, only so we can give you the answer. We don’t use your chats to train our own models. The providers have their own rules, described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Rules
You will not:
- break the law or use Sorex to harm, harass, threaten or defraud anyone, or to create malware or attacks;
- try to bypass limits, plans, payments, security or safety rules, or to extract hidden instructions, keys or other users’ data (“jailbreaking” and probing are not allowed);
- overload the service, scrape it, or resell access to it;
- create content that sexualises minors, or other content that is illegal where you live.
We may block messages, limit or suspend an account, or delete it if these rules are broken. We may do this at once if there is a security risk.
6. Plans, limits and payment
- Free has weekly limits. Pro and Max are paid plans with higher limits. The current prices and limits are shown on the website and under Settings → Plans.
- Paid plans are one-time purchases for the length you choose (1 day, 3 days, 1 week or 1 month), paid in Bitcoin or Litecoin. They do not renew automatically and we never charge you again without a new purchase from you. When the time ends, your account goes back to Free. If you buy the same plan again before it ends, the new time is added to the end.
- Your plan starts when the payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Network fees are paid by you. Send the exact amount to the exact address shown. A payment that is too low, sent to a different address, or reused from an older order cannot be matched to your order.
- We may change prices or limits for future purchases. A plan you have already paid for keeps its terms until it ends.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Sorex running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. AI providers can be slow, busy or unavailable, and we may replace models. We may change, add or remove features.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Sorex at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We can end or suspend your account for breaking these Terms. If we end a paid plan without a reason caused by you, we refund the unused time (see the Refund Policy).
9. Liability
Sorex is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by AI output, outages or providers outside our control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for intent, or for injury to life, body or health), or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms in an important way, we tell you on the website or by email before the change applies. If you keep using Sorex after that, the new Terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Sorex and delete your account.
11. Law and contact
These Terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator lives, without taking away any mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. Contact: fc.resselling@outlook.de.
